Can someone shed some light on this (i think) Tortoise Shell bag I have?
 
When Inherited this bag I was told it was tortoise shell; It’s badly damaged at this point and I do not condone using turtles for their shells. But is it actually tortoise shell? or could it be a bone of some sort?
