Can seller change "the reason of cancelation"

Question

Buyer contacted me and canceled the order. However, ebay listed it as reason non payment. Can I change that after the fact so it doesn't go against the buyer

Buyers cannot cancel orders. They can REQUEST a cancellation, but only a seller can file the cancellation. If the buyer does not pay by day 4, the seller can file a cancellation on day 5 for Buyer didn't pay. That will record a strike on the buyer's account. 2 strikes and sellers can block buyers from bidding/purchasing their items. Sellers can have this set up automatically. Once cancelled, I don't believe the reason can be changed.
