Can PayPal get information from eBay account
I just got email from PayPal charging me $899.99 for some crypto thingy & I do not have a PayPal account

OP2 years agoI called them, that woman hung up on me after giving my name
Then called my bank, talked to them for 25 minutes
This is why I was scared to even getting an account with eBay

Mentor2 years ago@Anonymous. You called who? I didn't provide a phone number. Beware of phone numbers you find doing a search. Don't call any numbers from an email.
What address is invalid? Are you saying that the paypal email address to report spoof email is not valid?
Since you don't have a PayPal account there's no way someone can use your PayPal account to make a purchase.

Mentor2 years ago@Anonymous eBay and PayPal are not linked. Buyers can pay using PayPal but that's the only connection eBay has with PayPal.
That sounds like a phishing scam, I hope you didn't click on anything in the email. Just to be safe I recommend running a virus scan and changing passwords.

Check your credit cards and bank account to make sure you don't have any fraudulent purchases.
