Can I use my Venmo balance to pay for an item?
Venmo draws from my linked card instead of my Venmo balance. Can I change that?

If the seller requires immediate payment then you won't be able to use your balance because it has to be a payment method that can have a pending charge.

MentorSep 16, 2026 at 8:48 PM · Edited@disneyshopper I think this may have changed since you last checked. Venmo is currently listed by eBay as an accepted payment method on eBay.com, and eBay now has a Help page specifically for paying with Venmo.
