can i ship an item to France?

Question

I've listed an antique that was manufactured in France and someone there would like to buy it. But apparently eBay doesn't facilitate shipment to France. What can I do?

France, along with many other countries, have various regulations that prevent certain items from shipping there.

Your active listings show you are enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program (eIS). If you go to your listings and look at the long list of countries you ship to, if France is not on that list, it's the item itself that cannot be sent there.
