Can I refund a buyer and still submit a claim after
If a Buyer does not receive an item and sends a refund request. Can I refund them and submit the claim after the allotted time. Item was sent using Ebay Envelope and Ebay has a 15 day wait to submit the claim. I have until July 7th to respond to the buyer and I cannot submit a claim until July 8th.
I am asking because Ebay's call center is closed and I cannot speak to a live person at this time.

You can refund the buyer and file a lost package claim with the shipping company.

OP1 year agoThank you. I should have stated that this was sent using an Ebay envelope, so USPS will not do anything.
