Can I modify the price of something someone already paid for?

I listed something as brand new with tags but then my step daughter pulled the tag off.. someone bought it for full price and now I'm wondering if I can give them some money back or if I need to cancel the order and relist... thanks

I'd contact the buyer and explain to them what happened and see what they want to do.
