Can I access sold action transaction records from 20 years ago?

Buyer is claiming non receipt of a vehicle that he thinks I listed on an auction 20 years ago...??? Is these a way to check past transaction records that far back? All I have is his eBay user handle....I checked my feed back history...and his name did not come up.
In the early 2000s...I sold an aircraft engine for a customer on eBay...and somehow someone else (definitely not me) "spoofed" my account and "listed" it again after it had been sold. I'm wondering if this is what might have happened...?

I would put the burden of proof back on this person. How did they know your eBay ID after 20 years? Do they have a Bill of Sale? A VIN number? You could honestly tell them you have no record of a vehicle sale with them from 2006.

Honestly though, it took them 20 years to realize they didn't get a vehicle??? I just don't believe it.
Personally I would block the buyer from messaging me as it's way to late for eBay refund requests. Even too late for Credit card. It's most likely too late for a small claims court case too.

OP1 month ago · EditedYeah...it is weird...? Here's what he just sent me...a copy of messages from 3 years ago...??? He never answered my question then, apparently, so I just probably blew it off. I still wonder though...did he "buy" a jeep from an "armydave2" off a legit eBay action...and just got scammed somehow...? Seams pretty strange that a person would make something like this up...even after 20 years.
