Can Ebay Seller ask for any selling price that looks like a scam for a non circulated coin?
See the $36,000 asking price for the Singapore $150 gold coin here. A good MS68 is selling for 2.5k+ here. Is such stunt ( the only reason that I can think of after Seller proudly discounted typo error after my query) allowed in Ebay. It looks like a scam to me and I hope Ebay do not send such offer to Buyers or at least to myself without due fair checking.

·2 years agoIt sounds like it’s probably a placeholder listing. Sometimes a seller will do that when they’re out of stock; raise the price high to ensure no one buys it until they get more in, then they’ll put the price where it’s supposed to be.
