Can Anything Be Done?
Ebay seller XXXXXXX is repeatedly offering items for Pre-sale, sending out the Order Details Receipt as if it was the item that was ordered which has a tracking number and a note about the delay in his shipping the item, since he says it's a Pre-Sale. The date he provides is past the eBay 30-day threshold. He then refuses to respond to any additional communications, including requests for a refund of the purchase price.
My two order numbers: Order number: 1234 and 5678 were placed on June 13th and June 11th respectively. The orders show delivered because he ships the eBay receipts with tracking numbers so he can say that those tracking numbers were delivered. They were small envelopes containing the receipts, not the items that I purchased.
He has scammed me out of almost $400.00. His Feedback percentage is 97%. He has done this to many others. Yes, I did not do my homework this time. I also know eBay will not help me get my money back because the 30-day threshold has passed.
Is there anything else I can do, other than leaving Negative Feedback??
