Can anyone tell me how to check the balance on one of my Ebay gift cards? Where do I go?

OP1 year agoI understand that once I use my eBay gift card, it gets registered to my account. I should keep track of how much came off of THAT card, but I did'nt. Later when I want to purchase something, I do not know how much is on that card. I went to the ebay website that you have listed on this message, but it only tells me that the card is already registered to my account, NOT THE BALANCE. I also agreed to pay $5.00 dollars to get answers from eBay, but was hacked when trying to use the secure form by JustAnswers. Luckly my bank was on its toes. I am retired, and rely on eBay to supply me with projects to fill my daily time.
I just would like to see a button saying "check balance on ALREADY registered eBay gift cards".

JustAnswers is not affiliated with eBay; most likely you clicked on a deceptive ad designed to make you think you were getting answers from eBay.

Go to your eBay checkout page to see the balance of any eBay gift cards linked to your account. If necessary, put a buy-it-now item in your cart in order to go to checkout, then back out before selecting a payment method or a shipping address if you do not want to complete the purchase.

Once you have added an eBay gift card to your account, the balance should appear on your checkout page.
