Can a seller increase the price of the item AFTER you’ve expressed interest?
I contacted the seller with a question about the mosaic glass tile that he’s selling and sent him a photo of the one that I have which I’m trying to buy more of. He responded saying it looks like it and that he’d get back to me with details. I then wanted to know if he offers combined shipping. He hasn’t gotten back to me about the tile details nor the combined shipping. Then I noticed that he increased the prices of the item! Is this acceptable?? He sent me an invoice with no combined shipping, and no communication, and with the increased price. Acceptable??

Mentor2 years agoSent you an invoice? That isn't possible unless you made an offer. Combined shipping does not mean discounted shipping and should not be expected. Not all sellers combine shipping.
Yes, sellers can change prices as they see fit. No rules were broken and it is acceptable.
