CAN A LISTING BE WITHDRAWN IF IT IS NOT GETTING HIGH ENOUGH BIDS?
AN ITEM WAS LISTED AT A LOW STARTING PRICE AS WAS SUGGESTED BY EBAY, BUT THE BIDS ARE ALL COMING IN NEAR THAT SUGGESTED PRICE. THE TRUE VALUE IS MUCH HIGHER AS SHOWN BY SEVERAL SALES OF THIS SAME ITME IN RECENT DAYS. I BELIEVE THAT I NEED TO WITHDRAW THE LISTING AND START
OVER WITH A NEW LISTING AT A MORE THAT ACCURATE VALUE. CAN THIS BE DONE? i PROBABLY SHOULD RELIST IT AT A BUY IT NOW.

Never ever take eBay's advice on the starting price for an Auction.
If you item is valuable then you need the starting auction price to be an amount that:
-covers your cost
-covers eBay's Fees
-covers your desired profit margin
-if after all of that your sold research shows it is more valuable then start it even higher

Mentor9 months agoIf you cancel all the bids and end the listing, ebay will charge a penalty based on the highest bid at the time. ebay always suggest starting auctions at a low price. Always start auctions at the lowest price you will accept if you only get one bid.
