Can’t get money from eBay?
I recently received a notification that I received payment for selling an item that was already picked up, only to find that the funds were never deposited into my bank account because I didn’t scan the buyer’s QR code. When I finally scanned the code, eBay still did not deposit the funds. Is anyone else having this problem with not getting paid?

As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
We do not have access to your account so all I can give you is general information.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
The funds are sometimes held for up to 30 days depending on account status and if the sale totals $1K or more.
You can check the status of your held funds and contact customer service from the bottom of this help page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=
Select Contact US then type AGENT in the chat box on the lower right corner of the LINKED PAGE. Then you can request a call back or chat with a live agent to find out why your funds have not been released.
If you are using a cellphone turn off the spam filter or it might block the callback.

OP2 years agoHello,
The transaction was less than $1,000 and when I clicked on that link I got the following message:
We can’t confirm the status of your payouts right now. Read our Payments on hold help page for more information on why we sometimes place a hold on payments.
Any ideas?

Mentor2 years ago@athenaki80 Is there a date stated on when the funds will be released? It can be up to 30 days sometimes even if the sale is less than $1k for new or returning sellers.
If there is not a date then I recommend contacting customer service.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen. ( Trust me)
3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department. If the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT again. Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
