Can’t confirm return
I ordered an item and the post office it got delivered to immediately shipped it back to the seller when I didn’t pick it up within 2 days. After I confirmed that it was delivered to the seller, I requested a return. eBay keeps asking me to post the item back for return when it has already been sent back to the seller. I waited 3 business days and still heard nothing. The seller is completely unresponsive. If they would confirm that they’ve received it we could proceed to issuing a refund, however, the seller has responded to none of my messages. Now I can’t confirm that the package has been sent back because eBay still thinks I need to post it back to the seller.

If it was sent back to the seller because you never picked it up at the post office, that does not qualify for filing a case through Ebay's Money Back Guarantee. The seller needs to cancel the transaction and refund you the price of the item.

Mentor1 year agoWhen you say you requested a return, that sounds like you wanted to return the item back to the seller.
Does the tracking number show it was returned back to the seller?
I believe the correct case to have been filed is Item Not Received. I do not know if you can do that now if you have filed a return request. I suggest contacting customer service to see if they can help.
