If the Have us call you link is there great, if not you may be forced to use the Chat feature.
You can also post your question / issue here and volunteer members will reply OR tell you that yes, you do need to be in direct contact with eBay. Your choice ...
Customer service reps are working remotely, so there is no central number. If you want a call back you need to provide some details via the chat assistant so you can be connected to person from the proper department.
Why can't we call them its an easy question to fix but the chat is garbage
@dfhotwire2007 It all started to change when Covid hit and it's not just eBay that makes it hard to actually talk to someone, it is MANY companies ...
Many companies resort to 3rd party phone support groups who basically read policy back to those they speak to. The companies benefit financially by not having to hire direct employees and pay health care premiums or long term retirement benefits, etc.

Most issues can be handled without a phone call.
