calculated shipping
I have been having to cover cost of shipping on calculated shipping for al of my orders so i feel like i have a setting that isnt correct. for instance i have a package that is 35x25x4 5lbs. someone just made me a very low offer and thier shipping cost was only 13.59. that just doesnt seem correct. There is NO way a package that big will cost that little to ship. so how can i set up the settings so it will calculate correctly so i dont have to continue covering the excess cost of shipping

I just took a lot at some of your sold items. The last item you sold had a flat rate shipping cost of $5.00 to every zip code. That's the problem there - you didn't use calculated shipping.
The item you sold before that was a muffin pan listed with Media Mail as the shipping option. A muffin pan does not qualify for Media Mail (books, documents, movies, music, etc.). See this link:
https://about.usps.com/notices/not121/not121_tech.htm
The keyboard was also listed with Media Mail which isn't allowed.
The previous sold items were listed as free shipping.
This is why you are paying more for your shipping labels than your buyers are paying you.

If you purchase your labels through eBay, you receive a discount on the shipping. If you are buying your labels over the counter, you pay the retail rate.
You can pass along a discount to the buyer at the link below as well as change the setting to charge the buyer the retail rate if you purchase your labels outside of eBay:

As for the shipping cost for the offer you receive...that could be correct if the buyer lives in a nearby shipping zone.
