Buying with ebay cards?
I want to buy a popup trailer for $1,000
but they want gift cards? How do I know it is not a scam? Can ebay verify this action?

Mentor2 years agoYou know it IS a scam because the listing is on another website (not eBay) and their want payment in gift cards.
This is a common scam, and you are dealing with a criminal who is trying to steal your money.
eBay has nothing to do with listings on other sites. If the item isn't listed on the eBay website and if you don't purchase it through the eBay listing, the transaction has nothing to do with eBay.

The "invoice" is a fake run away.
