Buying site not working properly

Question

I can get thru to buy item, but it will only let me buy at listed price, will not let me bid or make offer, even though that is listed, also my screen background is black not white

You can only bid on items that are actually Auctions. If it is a Fixed Price listing, then you need to pay the price the item is listed for in order to purchase it. Some sellers will have their fixed priced listing set up to allow offers, but not all sellers do that nor is it required for them to do that.

As for your black background. Go to the upper right corner of this page and click on your Avatar. It appears just to the right of the Bell. A menu will drop down. The first thing is the ability to turn the black mode off or on.
