Buying report came as Html only

I have been trying to import my purchases (not sales) over the past year. I requested a report and after a few days I received a notice that it was ready. The report was created as HTML. I was expecting to receive a .CSV file. Is there a way to request the report file type?

If you open the html file using a spreadsheet program such as Excel or Open Office you should be able to save it in different formats, I think.
