I received an email from ebay, transaction number but nothing is listed on my account. Is this a fraudulent sale?

I received an email from ebay, transaction number but nothing is listed on my account. Is this a fraudulent sale?

Mentor2 years agoDoes the email contain any non-private information that connects it to you, aside from your email address?
If not, the email may be a phishing scam to get you to click on a link in the email and give up your account details to a scammer.
