Should you buy from or trust a seller with no previous sales?

All buyers and sellers start out with no experience.

I would be careful and cautious about buying an item from a seller with no sales.

Things to look for :

Is the seller showing the actual item in the photos?

A seller with their own photos and description might give me better insurance that they might be legitimate.

Does the seller suddenly have a great new item at a steal of a deal price?

This would make me run. If it is a new seller with multiple new items and the price is lower than everyone else, it may be something to avoid.

Is the seller located in the US and ships from a US address. Be careful that the seller is not saying "US" but is located outside the US. This is usually more difficult to get help if something goes wrong. I would not buy from a seller outside the US for a new item at a great price.

I suggest you reach out to the seller with a few questions about the item. Not to interrogate the seller, but to just get a feel if they are going to respond and if they have information about the product.

Overall, I think it you just need to be careful about vetting the seller, the location and the product they are selling.
