Buying from an international ebay website

I am a United States citizen who wants to buy a specific product that I can only find in Germany. I found the exact thing I wanted on the Ebay Germany website (ebay.de) but I'm not sure if there is a way I can actually buy it. I am willing to wait for and pay for shipping, as long as I can insure that I will, without a doubt, get the product.
