Buying from a eBay messaged if I wanted to buy 200 that she had not listed

Question

I have a figurine listed and received an email if I wanted to buy 200 more and she lives close to me. They are not listed. I’m allowed to look at these .

@jrlevin You have no way to share contact information since they have not purchased from you and you have not purchased from them.

This would be considered an offsite transaction which is not allowed. They need to list as local pickup then you can buy the items.

It must be a slow-selling item if someone is trying to offload 200 of them. How long do you think it would take to sell that many?

And that’s how so many people end up with a big pile of unsold stuff. LOL!
