As jacbar said, the determining factor is when the seller came into possession of the item.
• Sell item first, then buy it ... bad.
• Buy item first, then sell it ... good.

Mentor1 year agoNo that is a violation or eBay and Amazon policy that can be reported to each service. However, if the seller is also an Amazon seller using their fulfillment services then it is allowed as the seller already owns the items that are sold.
