·2 years agoNobody prearranges with eBay to handle a sale.
This question sounds like you found an item like a vehicle on a non eBay site and they said they prearranged with eBay to handle the sale and they want your name and email so that eBay could send you details.
That's a scam. The email you'll get might look like eBay sent it but they did not. It's a fake invoice sent by the scammer. They're trying to steal gift cards.
Forward the email to spoof@ebay.com and report the ad on the site you found it on.
