Buying a vehicle and getting it shipped

Question

Hi,What happens when you purchase a vehicle on eBay motors but you want it to be shipped to you and seller offers shipping options, does it all happen through ebay? Or how is the shipping handled?

If the vehicle was purchased by signing into your eBay account and shows in your purchase history you will need to work out shipping and payment with the seller. eBay Motors sales work differently and once you commit to purchase and pay any deposit the seller requires the rest of the transaction is handled off eBay.

Did you find the car on another website like Facebook or Craig's List and the seller said that eBay will handle the sale and you had to pay with gift cards?

If so it is a SCAM.

That is not how eBay works and they had no part in the sale. Once you send the codes for the gift cards your money is gone and there is no way to get it back. To purchase a vehicle on eBay you need to sign in to eBay and complete the checkout process on eBay. The vehicle will be in your Purchase History.
