buying
I bought a dvd box set that was listed as brand new and sealed, and it came with ALL used and broken dvd's.
The set obviously had been repackaged and sealed with ALL used and broken dvd's.
I thought that this was against eBay's rules to fraudulently post false claims on items you have for sale.
Yet, eBay just let's the fraudsters keep on posting their fraudulent items for sale along with bootleg items.
What is the best way to make sure that the item(s) posted are not fraudulent or used when saying that they are brand new? The discs below are cracked and useless as part of a dvd set that was claimed as brand new.

Return the item for a full refund. eBay measures sellers on their returns - a high rate of returns results in restrictions on the seller.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts. In comments describe the condition of the item received.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.

OP8 months agoThanks for the info. Already got a refund and bought the series again from another seller. This other seller also advertised the discs as brand new, they are not, but the discs are in great condition even so, and play just fine, so I will just accept these and enjoy the series as they seem to play just fine. Not sure what the "deal" is, but as the saying goes, whatever...🙂
Thanks again,
