Buyers who donâ€™t pay

Question

Is there a way to block people who have a non payment strike against them? I am so tired of people bidding and not paying. Who agrees the buyers account should automatically pay the seller at the end of the auction? Thatâ€™s the way it was years ago. I have been selling on eBay for 23 years and it used to be automatically deducted and did not give the buyer 4 days to decide if they are going to pay. I have had 4 people in one month bid, not pay, not communicate anything. It is so frustrating.

You are incorrect.

I have been on here 23 years, back to the days when a buyer could send a check or Money Order to the seller through the mail.

When Ebay did away with the check/money order payments, they required the buyer pay within 6 days. Payments were not made automatically. Now Ebay has shortened it to 4 days.

Recently, payments are automatic if buyer makes an offer and seller accepts.
