Buyers that just don’t pay.

Question

Hello, I’m just a small time collector and I like selling on eBay, but I am finding more and more people are not paying. I get really slow payers, like a week or more. I’m getting people who buy then say oops, sorry and back out. I have done a couple of a blocking of buyers, but I see one of them just make up a new name/account and are back at it. Any suggestions??

When a buyer does not pay, cancel the transaction after 4 days of non-payment have passed, specify "buyer didn't pay".

In Seller Hub, go to Orders.
Find the order you want to cancel, and from More actions, select Cancel order.
Select "buyer didn't pay" as the reason for the cancellation and then select Submit to finish.

All unpaid items are recorded on a buyer's account. Buyers who have excessive unpaid items, or canceled transactions, may have limits imposed, or lose their buying privileges.

Place the non-paying buyer on your Blocked Buyer List:
