Buyers return lost in transit
Summary: josnel67 is dealing with a situation where a customer claimed their item was damaged upon delivery, and while a return was approved, the package was lost in transit. With the refund deadline approaching, they are uncertain about whether to issue the refund immediately or wait to see if the return package arrives.
A customer ordered a package, the package was heavily secured to make sure there was no damage possible in transit. The customer received the item and said that it was damaged upon delivery. I simply approved the return anyway. They've shipped the item, but the package appears to be lost in transit. eBay says that this is the last day for me to give a refund so but I haven't received the package so I issue a refund anyways or hold off until I possibly get the package delivered? the package was insured and a claim was already submitted for it being damaged in transit
