Buyers items tracking info was not updating, issued a refund, now they received the item, how do I get paid?
How do I get paid? Or am I out of luck?
Also, I had a buyer submit a request for this. I did take care of it by issuing the refund. Is there somewhere to make a note of what happened so this does not reflect poorly on me and impact my future selling??

If you ship on time and refund the buyer when they ask through a INR refund request then you do qualify for Seller Protection if the item finally arrives IF you use an eBay shipping label. See this notice>
https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/news/2025-september/inr-policy-updates
If the buyer files an INR case and tracking shows movement then you can ask eBay to give the item more time to arrive.
Contact customer service on social media using a PRIVATE message and ask for seller protection as stated in the link I
shared> https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
6am to 6pm Pacific Time M-F
If that option does not work then I hope you have an honest buyer>
I would contact the buyer and say I see that your X finally arrived, I hope you are enjoying it. I would offer a small discount to encourage them to pay you back since part of your money is better than none.
You would have to make arrangements for the buyer to send you the payment via an electronic payment method such as Venmo, PayPal etc. This is not considered an offsite transaction since the sale already took place.
