Buyers Beware
You know it wasn’t until my recent encounter that I have grown to realize this site is not for the buyer but merely for the seller as that’s where they are making their money off of. It’s a sad day in America where, when you have a problem and all it dors is gets shuffled out the back door. I am truly disappointed in EBay and the manner in which one that has a problem with a seller can not contact EBay with any help or resolutions for the buyer. . Which again makes it’s a sellers market right? Buyers Bewate when you buy stuff on EBay. It’s not alwayz what you think and no one truly cares but you…

You asked a question a couple of days ago about an item that arrived broken and received some good advice about filing a return case that you marked as helpful.

If you have run into problems since then, what has happened?
If you filed a return through eBay using a "not as described" reason, the seller is responsible for providing for return shipping and refunding you when tracking shows the item has been returned. If the seller does not cooperate, you should be able to ask eBay to step in and refund you after three business days have passed.

OP2 years agoI contacted the seller as per your site recommendation for refund Upon doing so the seller told me they were gonna refuse my return, I to try and collect it from Evay or the Post office. Which I found to be very unprofessional I did as the site said and tried to download the photos of my items in pieces upon opening and your site would not allow it to process through because the seller stated on her site she was not accepting returns from me. So therefore I am unable to process any return notice via the circumstances. I ordered my very last item from your site and have choose not to tell everyone I know not to order from any out your sites. As I feel this is not my first time with this scenario and I didn’t peruse the first I just chalked up $189.00 dollar loss. It’s not the money it’s the principle of the mater we as buyers should have right too.

Mentor2 years agoIf an item is not as described, the buyer can file a "not as described" return on eBay here:

The seller's "no return" policy does not apply to "not as described" returns. eBay's money back guarantee takes precedence.
