Buyers Be Aware - Ebay won't step in and assist with resolution if sale is over 30 days
Purchased a christmas gift for my son, listed as new item - LED light pods. It appeared to be complete when received so I wrapped and gave it for Christmas. When my son opened the gift and took completely out of the package, it was clear that the lights had been installed and were used. The wire harness was cut and the connectors were missing. The hardware was drilled out for larger bolts. I was unable to see all of this when the item was received unless you completely opened all of the packaging. The seller won't acknowledge or respond to weeks of messaging and Ebay won't assist because it has been greater than 30 days. Ebay customer service is disgusting! They basically told me that I am on my own. This seller went to pretty good lengths to disguise the fact that this was used and is a total dirt bag!

Mentor1 year agoThe money back guarantee is the eBay 30 day money back guarantee. You have that long and no more. You can go to your funding source to try and get a refund.

OP1 year agoI am not questioning the Ebay 30 day money back guarantee, I am asking Ebay to step in and encourage the seller to do the right thing considering the seller broke policy by advertising something as "new" and willfully concealing and shipping a "used/previously installed" item and they won't! By Ebay doing nothing, they are allowing this poor seller behavior to continue.
