Buyers address not accepted by USPS
After winning auction, Buyer wanted me to ship to different address than what is registered on eBay. I said I would not be able to do that. I went into rollo to get a shipping label, and his regular address is not valid, according to usps. I messaged buyer and asked him to update his eBay address. He messaged me that he updated his PayPal address. I asked him to check and update eBay. He said done, but it us not showing on my end. What should I do?

In addition to the advice already provided, buyers do NOT have to ship to their "regular" address. They can ship to any address they like (work, home, vacation home, friend, family, etc.). The caveat is that they change the address BEFORE they complete checkout. The checkout page displays the buyer's primary address with a Change link below it so that can add or select a different address.
If the buyer wants to change the primary shipping address on his account, he needs to do so in eBay, not in PayPal.
As mentioned, changing the address on his account impacts future orders - not the current one. You need to cancel the transaction using the reason that there is a problem with the buyer's address, and relist the item so he can repurchase it.

The path of least resistance is to have the Buyer message you and ask to cancel so they can purchase again now that their address has been updated. Updating it AFTER they won the auction obviously does not update it on your end. If they ask you in a message to cancel you can do that without penalty on your account.
You can Relist it Auction format, they can place the starting bid and then you can End the listing accepting their bid and sending an invoice for payment.

Buyers can change the shipping address at checkout right up until payment is sent. After that, the shipping address for that transaction cannot be changed.
The seller is required to ship to the address that comes with the payment or lose all protection in the event of an "item not received" case. Scammers often send messages urging the seller to ship to another address, so sellers are rightly wary of such requests.
The seller can cancel the transaction and relist to allow the buyer to purchase again and provide the correct address, but sellers are not required to do any of that.
