Buyer wrongly getting message that I don't ship to their address despite no exclusions in listing.
I sent an offer to a buyer for an item. They tried to accept and purchase but then they got the message that I don't ship to their location. I suggested that they reject offer and try purchasing at full price (with partial refund later) and they still could not purchase it for the same reason.
My listing has no shipping exclusions in the US.
How do I fix this?

Your shipping settings are all over the place, I see First Class (which is NOT a tracked package like Ground advantage), Priority Mail and Ground Advantage. I suspect that you have made mistakes on the weights or dimensions and that very easily could be the reason the Buyer is not seeing that you ship to them.
You will have to use the Edit function on each listing (or at least the one the Buyer is having trouble with) and make sure you weights and dimensions are correct. If either of those exceed a carriers MAX allowable values then domestic Buyers can get that message that you don't ship to their location.

Is it the letterpress? I see ‘shipping not specified’ on this item - that generally means that one of the dimensions or the weight you entered can not be used for calculated shipping. Edit your item and correct the shipping info. Then your buyer can send you an offer.

OP1 year agoYes, it's the letter press. (https://www.ebay.com/itm/235943563587)
And I just edited the dimensions of the package, which would be a a basic envelope. I hope this works. Thank you.

Your buyer should be able to make the offer and pay, or buy it now that the shipping is showing a price.
As @jonathanbrightlight described, this is not a good service to select. The item does not look flexible - to send an item as a letter, the item must be able to bend around the sorting equipment - picture it wrapping around a soda can.
Your PO may allow you to send it as a large envelope by adding a non-machinable surcharge - you would have to ask the clerk. To do this you will hand write the address on the package - you won’t be able to print a label since there is no tracking.

OP1 year agoWhat about a small padded envelope or mailer?

Mentor1 year agoIf you ship in a padded mailer, you will be charged for USPS Ground Advantage, which includes tracking.

·1 year agoThanks! I actually don't see the same thing on my end that @wooden_flower is seeing, but I have the same advice. Try editing the shipping details and making sure everything is filled out correctly. Currently it shows USPS First Class for me, at a cost of only $2.26, but I would think you'd want to ship that in a package, not an envelope, which means the buyer would be significantly underpaying for shipping if so. Up to you on how you send it, but definitely revisit the shipping settings and just make sure they're set up completely and correctly.
