Buyer won't return item after receiving a refund for item that was lost by usps but finally arrived.
Buyer has lied to me twice saying he will ship it back.

If you shipped on time using an eBay shipping label and refunded from an item not received case then eBay refunds you automatically a few days after tracking shows delivery.

If you don't qualify and want the item back then you can send the buyer a return shipping label as a jpg image in eBay messages. Buy the label from PIrateship.com.

I recall reading something in the last several weeks about eBay instituting a new policy to help sellers out who have encountered this situation. [Unfortunately, I was in the midst of the flu and don’t recall the details. 😖]
I will try to locate the information and will post more about it when I do.

OP8 months agoThe real problem is USPS never scanned the parcel at the post office which is strange. The parcel was
fully insured for the full amount, but with no proof of when I dropped it off I don't know if that would apply.
I am trying to get a Ebay agent to call me but it keeps kicking me out with the message something went wrong. Thank you, Denson

Mentor8 months ago@densomuffle0. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if the post office didn't scan it then you have no protection from eBay or USPS.
Always stand in line and get your package scanned or use the kiosk.
Talking to an agent won't help.

OP8 months agoI have proof of parcel delivery from USPS with date and time. The buyer told me he had received the item
on the 20th of December. USPS tracking shows it leaving Reno on the 19th of December the buyer receiving
it on the 20th. which is impossible for ground shipment. The label was created on the 12th. and I shipped it
on the 13th. Any chance a legal suit within the state of Georgia? Denson
