Buyer won’t send back what I accidentally sent her.
I made a sale of a wig. I shipped the wrong one. She let me know that. I then paid to ship her the correct one. She said she would send the wrong one right away. It never happened. I have messaged her numerous times to return the wig. It is brand new and worth more that what she bought. She messaged with some story that she is living in a hotel and did not get her second shipment. I said I used the same address as the first shipment that she received. She won’t send the wig back. Can we bill her for the wig?

I think many Sellers make shipping mistakes during their time selling online, I have a list of my mistakes and some cost me money. Unless you send the Buyer a pre-paid shipping label they have no incentive to pay to return the wrong item since that was your mistake. While I don't buy the story about the hotel you can probably use Google Earth to see if indeed the address is for a hotel type building or a residential area ...
In any event I sincerely hope you can work something out with them and get the wig back.

OP2 years agoI told her to refuse the shipment right away and it would return back to me free of charge. She received the mistake at her address. I shipped the correct one right away to the same address. That fact that she changed addresses is her responsibility to notify eBay. I don’t even have that hotel address. Seems fishy.

Now I am confused, sorry.
In your original post you stated that the buyer told you that you shipped the wrong one. How would they know that if they did not open it? They cannot refuse the shipment if they already received it & opened it.

OP2 years agoI was able to refuse a package that I retyped and went back to USPS after a day . No questions asked. She was going to do that and never did. It’s been over a month.

Did you send the buyer a prepaid return shipping label so they can ship the wrong item back to you?

OP2 years agoThe buyer said she is staying in a motel. She said I was to ship the correct wig to that address. I was never given the address to this hotel. It went to the address that populated when I purchased and printed. I have messaged the buyer. She has not given me that Hotel address. It is all pretty crazy.
