Buyer with bad reviews
I have a buyer who bought a gaming console from me who has multiple negative reviews(the last like 5) that say this buyer is a scammer and swaps items and states items never arrived. I would rather block them and cancel the order but can I do it without my account being affected. Thanks in advance.

You can add the buyer to your blocked bidder list to prevent future purchases.
To Block that buyer from your account, add the user name here:
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/BuyerBlock
You can cancel the order for out-of-stock which will add one defect to your account.
That will stay for one year.
If it's a $65 item, I would probably ship.
Over $100, don't know what I would do.
Normally, they pay I ship.
Whatever you do, don't leave negative feedback for the buyer. That's a violation

Mentor3 weeks agoIf sellers left a positive feedback with negative words, they have violated ebay policy, and the buyer could contact ebay to get those feedbacks removed if done in a timely manner.
What reason would you select for the cancellation? You can certainly add the buyer's user ID to your Blocked Buyers List.

OP3 weeks agoI have no clue what I would put that’s why I came to here. I’m not trying to ship this item out for them to scam me when there is multiple reviews stating they are scammers, and I know about the positive feedback but leaving negative feedback is frowned upon but I’m glad these people did that. There 100 percent should be the option for a seller to leave a negative review on a buyer, it’s wild to me that you can’t.

Mentor3 weeks agoeBay's policy has been for many years that buyers can only receive positive feedback with positive comments. This policy is from a time when sellers demanded buyers leave feedback for the item before they would even ship the item. Buyers who did not leave the feedback were given negative feedback from the seller. So eBay stopped sellers from leaving neutral or negative feedback.
