Buyer with account from 2017, no feedback, and missing state in address
I just made a $60 sale to a buyer who has no feedback and an account that was opened in 2017. I was all ready to pack it up and purchase a shipping label until I noticed that the state isn’t listed in her address. I did a little research here in the community and noticed one person posted about a package that was returned because the state wasn’t listed on the label, so that gives me pause right there. But, I have to admit, I find it to be a red flag when someone comes out of the woodwork, after six years, to make their first sale. I’m sure it happens but, along with the incomplete address, I’m now wary. I had a situation a couple years back with an incorrect address and the person tried to use that to scam me. It didn’t work but I did have to wait three months to get my money because they did a chargeback and eBay left it up to their bank. The bank awarded in my favor.
I’d like to hear some thoughts from others, especially others who may have been in the same situation. I’ve been selling for over 20 years and have had very few issues but times have changed so much and I feel less confident here on eBay than I ever have. I’m leaning toward canceling the order due to issues with the address. What would you do?

That there is the best thing you can do. As a seller, sitautions like this can happen and it's up to you to use your best judgement. I would cancel the order due to an address issue. And if the buyer would like to purchase the item again with a corrected address, I would be more then welcome to, but that's my POV on the situation
