Buyer who won the bin in a country I do not ship to
A buyer in England won the bid on an item I'm selling. I do not ship internationally.
What do I do now? How do I cancel the sale?
Will the buyer be charged the cost I lost to eBay fees?

Some foreign Buyers use freight forwarding companies based in the US, this allows them to purchase items here. You would ship to the US address and the Buyer would pay the forwarding company to ship the item to their country. You are ONLY responsible to the US address for delivery and returns.
If they do not have a US address to ship to they may be blocked from paying, if so wait 4 days and then Cancel on the 5th day using the reason Buyer hasn't paid, they will get an Unpaid item strike.
If they can't pay and ask you to ship to them message them and let them know the item is not available for international shipping and that you will be happy to cancel the transaction in 4 days time ... this may not be the first time they tried this kind of thing and they definitely should get an Unpaid item strike.

I have sold to a fair number of Buyers like that. When we had PayPal they had a setting to BLOCK foreign funding sources but when they were replaced by Adyen eBay refused to set that feature up with Adyen.

Mentor3 weeks agoI looked at the 3 items you sold on Sept 6. All of them only ships to USA, so I suspect your UK buyer is using a freight forwarder. If so, your obligation is to ship to the freight forwarder.
