Buyer wants to Shop More
Summary: mich_5075 expressed frustration with a new feature allowing buyers to delay payments, which affects their shipping schedule and increases costs. They feel that buyers should communicate if they intend to purchase more items to avoid delays. eburtonlab suggested that the seven-day payment window can be avoided by not using combined shipping options or required payment methods at auction, which trigger this feature.
How many sellers are experiencing the Buyer wants to shop more with delayed payment? I am not a fan of this new introduced feature. I try to list all my items for sale on the weekend so I am making one trip to the post office. Gas is expensive and this is not saving me anything but grief. Are any of the other sellers not liking this or is it just me? I have a Buyer that won a pair of earrings last weekend and it says auto pay for this Monday (late in the day). Now this weekend two more buyers extended payment to the 20th of this month. I feel that if the buyer wants to wait to pay because they are interested in another item then this should be communicated to the seller. My thoughts anyway.

Turn Auto-pay OFF near the bottom of this page. Buyer management | eBay
OR leave it one and do NOT offer Combined shipping. The combination of Auto-pay ON and offering Combined shipping triggers the extended pay time for Buyers if they win an auction.

The seven day window is triggered by the seller using a required payment method for an auction along with a combined shipping option to allow buyers to combine auction wins and check out once.
Remove either one of those and the seven day window goes away, I believe.
