Buyer wants to return items the bought for Christmas gifts, that they bought in November
I have a customer who bought two items, separately on Nov 8th 2025 and it is now 1/22/26 and now says they both don't work and wants to return them. I don't offer returns and the items worked when I shipped them. Said they where Christmas gifts, but it's almost a month after Christmas. Sound false to me but, how would y'all handle this? I found an 800 number for ebay but no humans...

Mentor8 months agoThe buyer has 30 days after delivery to report a problem and file a return request even if you have no returns. If there is a problem, eBay money back guarantee overrides any return policy you have.
You are not obligated to accept the return, and you can deny the request. However, if the buyer decides to go to their credit card or PayPal, they may be able to file a dispute outside of eBay.
