Buyer wants to return item & refund
Sold an item, buyer received the item, a few days later he states the item is defective, not as described, and wants a refund and return. I have messaged them several times and received no answers to my questions....I also noticed that the buyer just became an Ebay member the day of purchase and zero rating.. Is there a scam here.... Does Ebay favor the buyer in this and not the seller..??

Mentor2 years agoIf the buyer files a Returns Request and states Not as Described, you WILL accept the return and pay for a return shipping label. If you refuse, ebay can refund the buyer from your funds, not require that the buyer return the item, and a defect will be recorded on your account for an unresolved transaction.
