Buyer wants to return item

Question

I sold a baseball card and I described the item .he claims I didn't

I have found him lying .I offered a refund and sent him a return label that I purchased and he hasn't mailed it.i believe he's playing games with me .what can I do .you can't reach anyone on ebay to help and alot of options they say they have they dont

eBay encourages "Trading partners" (their term for a Buyer and seller on a transaction) to try and work things out. It sounds to me like you are trying to do that. You have sent a return label and offer some type of refund. At this point the ball is in the Buyer's court. You are a new Seller so you are a target for scammers. The Buyer may just be waiting to see if you cave and refund their entire purchase and maybe that has worked for them with other new Sellers.

Check their Feedback history, maybe there are some comments from other Sellers about them. Alos, if they have purchased a ton of stuff in the past month they could very easily have you confused with someone else.

Talking to eBay will not do anything, they won't get involved.
