Buyer wants to purchase all inventory... possible scam?

Question

Long time Seller here, seen it all, so I thought. But my scam radar is on full alert, not sure how to proceed.

The skinny:

I have multiple (10+) brand new $35 items for sale new sealed in original packaging
Received a message from a potential buyer saying he wants them all
The message came through eBay but is not attached to the item itself, just a message
I replied explaining I don't want to sell them all at once to someone who has never bought from us before, but would be willing to start with a smaller number, they agreed

Now just waiting.

Is there any new scam going on where someone tries to buy all inventory?

@schlumpfies The first thing I'd look at is comps... is your item being sold for more by others? Check sold listings NOT active listings. Is it being sold for more on other sites?

I would be cautious of a huge sale like that too unless you are way underpriced. It does sound fishy.
