Buyer Wants to Change Shipping Service After Purchasing

I have a buyer who wants to change how the items are packaged or shipped after they chose to make the purchase. They insist their carrier will destroy the package. They want me to buy more packing materials, which were not covered in the shipping cost and will also increase package weight and size not accounted for.

OR they want me to change the shipping service. From what I’ve read, the best way to do this is to cancel the order and relist it with their preferred shipping service and they can buy it again.

What is the best way to proceed?
