Buyer wants to cancel

Question

Buyer paid for item, then after paying asked me to cancel. Ebay already sent payout before the buyer requested to cancel. Now ebay is saying I have to fully refund buyer with my own funds (have yet to buy shipping label) which is $35 more than the payout I received.

If your payout was already sent, then of course you'll refund from your own funds. eBay covers the fee portion of the refund and you cover the portion you received.

Here's an example of what happens:

Buyer's payment was $102.38

eBay pays $12.76 of the refund

Seller pays $89.62 of the refund
