I received my answer. I was not aware I am suppose to get items appraised before listing since I am new at this and will do so from now on.

OP8 months agoTo add, after reading my description I see where I used AI to describe and did not read over well enough seeing it stated diamonds like someone kindly pointed out to me on here.
My " intent" was not to try and deceive as someone so rudely stated on here.
Thank you for the kind replies and suggestions !

Mentor8 months agoHi @23tara20 eBay expects its sellers to know what they're listing. It sounds like your buyer knows how to use the eBay Money Back Guarantee, so took a risk on your listing knowing they could get their money back if it turned out to be fake. You, however, are out the cost of shipping and have an internal ding on your account for a return. eBay doesn't show every ding, but they keep track. You don't have to get an expensive appraisal to know if the item is a diamond or not. Any pawn shop will test it. Diamond/gem testers are readily available for under $20 right here on eBay. No matter what you're selling, do your job and know what you're listing before you list it. Good luck!
Example of a diamond tester on eBay for under $20 with free shipping:

Mentor8 months agoHi @23tara20
In your item specifics, you listed the secondary stone as diamonds. Your description also refers to diamonds in one place and diamond like in another.
You must be more clear and ensure you are listing accurately and consistently. If you don't know whether the stones are diamonds or not, you should have them tested before you list the item. The buyer expects you to know what you're selling (especially for an item you are selling for hundreds of dollars).
I would graciously accept the return and apologize for the listing inconsistencies.

< I do not know what would >
I do. You find out whether it's a diamond or not, before you list it. I think the intent was to plant the idea and hope it would take root in somebody's mind.

Being clear means you state what the item is, not that it might or might not be something of value (vs. something of little value). It's not accurate when your description says the ring has diamonds but contradicts that by saying by also saying the stones are diamond like. Same with the item specifics contradicting the title.
You asked how to handle this, and I advised you with the way good sellers do that. When the buyer opens an item not as described case, if you don't accept the return, eBay will refund on your behalf and allow the buyer to keep the item. You'll also earn a defect on your seller record.

OP8 months agoThank you I did not mean to be rude. I am upset I told someone before they purchased an item that I was not sure. They bought anyway. I was not aware I need to get the items appraised prior to listing and now I will do so. Thank you for your input.
