Buyer wants me to wait 3 weeks before shipping item
Buyer wants me to wait 3 weeks before shipping a purchased item. Won’t eBay cancel the order if it isn’t shipped 4-5 days?

Mentor1 year agoeBay does not cancel paid orders however, you are required to ship within your stated handling time and if you do not your account will receive a defect. You should let the buyer know that you must ship within your handling time. You can offer to cancel the purchase and then relist when they are back for them to purchase the item again.

Mentor1 year agoNo, ebay won't cancel the order. Only you, the seller, can file a cancellation. You can advise the buyer that ebay will record a defect on your account if you do not ship within your handling time. What you can suggest is that you cancel the order as buyer requested, and you will relist the item in 3 weeks, and the buyer can then repurchase the item at that time, so you can ship within your handling time.
